Nuclear Atrocities

During and following WW2, the US found itself in a race to develop nuclear energy and the atomic bomb.  So, I’ve been learning a bit about some of the atrocities imvolved around the Manhattan Project and in the development of nuclear energy.  It seems that public safety was neglected in many instances and that the ends justified any means in many cases. Why were so many mistakes made?  Why were the safety of tens of thousands put in jeopardy? If the ends were noble, why were corrupt means continually used to achieve these ends?  Here is a brief list of documented US human radiation experiments.

  • feeding radioactive material to mentally disabled children[4]
  • enlisting doctors to administer radioactive iron to impoverished pregnant women
  • exposing U.S. soldiers and prisoners to high levels of radiation[4]
  • irradiating the testicles of prisoners, which caused severe birth defects[4]
  • exhuming bodies from graveyards to test them for radiation (without the consent of the families of the deceased)[5]

  • 1948-1979: 500,000-2 million children underwent nasal radium irradiation treatments to shrink adenoids.

  • In a 1949 operation called the "Green Run," the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) released iodine-131 and xenon-133 to the atmosphere near the Hanford site in Washington, which contaminated a 500,000-acre (2,000 km2) area containing three small towns.[59]
  • From 1955 to 1960, Sonoma State Hospital in northern California performed radiation experiments on over 1400 mentally handicapped children who were dropped off and experimented on until death.
  • In an experiment in the 1960s, over 100 Alaskan citizens were continually exposed to radioactive iodine.[62]

I can’t list all the experiments.  It just goes on and on.  And this doesnt account for the many experiments with syphilis (Tuskegee, Guatemala children), and other chemical  agents.

And this doesn’t cover the public exposures from nuclear testing and nuclear accidents that were covered up.  Amd this is just what we know about. Its just lies, lies, and more lies.

1. Nevada testing and downwind exposures in Southern Utah.
2. Bikini Atoll
3. SL-1 accident in Idaho
4. Sodium Reactor Experiment meltdown at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory near Simi Valley, California.
5. Other activities at Santa Susana.
6. plutonium (Pu-239) plume from the 1957 fire at the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant

So was it just hubris or fear of the Russians or national security interests that led to these and many other atrocities and coverups?

Or maybe the problem is that the Manhattan project was ill-conceived at the start. The Manhattan Project was first planned at the Bohemian Grove in Sonoma County, California by the elite.  The S-1 Committee met at the Bohemian Grove Sept 13, 1942. Maybe the problem is we got exactly what you would expect when a group of elites meet in secret and set a secret agenda.

The same goes for the FED Reserve set up by elites a similar secret meeting at Jekyll Island, GA in 1913.
