Maternal Folic Acid Exposure and Autism

In some children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Folate Receptor Alpha (FRα) autoantibodies can disrupt the transport of folate into the brain, potentially contributing to cerebral folate deficiency. These antibodies block folate from binding to its receptor, hindering its entry into the brain. This deficiency may be associated with speech challenges and other neurodevelopmental issues in ASD. Could Lucovorin be a treatment that bypasses this ttransporter to supply folate into the brain?

My sister had fraternal twins. Both had the same maternal exposures and vaccines, so it would make sense that autism could be an immunilogic problem.
